Program Guidelines
Public Programs is a shared, democratic resource. These guidelines describe what belongs on the board and what happens on public program days at RELAY: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9am to 9pm for paid programs, Sundays, 10am to 8pm for free programs.
What We Support
Community care, knowledge sharing, and mutual reciprocity. Peer-to-peer exchange, cultural enrichment, and grassroots organizing. Workshops, classes, neighborhood meetings, affinity groups, performances, and skill shares - programs made by and for the community.
What We Do Not Host on Public Program Days
- Private invite-only events - public program days are for programs anyone can attend.
- External fundraisers - including fundraising for outside non-profits, political campaigns, or personal crowdfunding.
- Standalone fine art exhibitions - the floor plan changes with gallery installations, residencies, and long-term exhibitions, which run on other days.
- Outside commercial upselling - no marketing funnels, no multi-level marketing, no selling external goods or services during programs.
Who This Platform Is For
Individuals, independent collectives, and grassroots initiatives. This platform is not for government agencies, state institutions, university departments, or corporations seeking PR space.
Other Dates and Exceptions
Excluded entities are not banned from RELAY. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9am to 9pm and Sundays, 10am to 8pm are reserved for public programs; RELAY can serve other groups on other dates. Contact RELAY directly through relaysantafe.org.
The same applies to RELAY’s own programming: longer-term projects and other residencies usually run alongside public programs, but on occasion one takes precedence and a given week is set aside for it instead. Sundays are a standing exception: every Sunday is part of The Burrito Brigade's residency, with free programming and community resources.
Space Capacity
RELAY is a fluid space and occupancy varies with gallery installations. Capacity for any given program is confirmed during green-light review.
Moderation
Posts that violate these guidelines or the Terms of Use may be hidden or removed, and repeat violations can lead to account suspension. See the Terms of Use for details.
