Apparatus
Apparatus is a social project emerging at the intersections of mutual aid, community organizing, and artistic intervention - building daily support systems, solidarity, and mutual aid through collaborative public spaces. For Public Programs, Apparatus handles operational support and backend production.
RELAY Santa Fe
RELAY Santa Fe is the physical anchor - a flexible venue for artists, makers, and neighbors to connect and collaborate. RELAY provides the space and this digital platform.
How a Program Comes Together
You post a program request or a program proposal, and the community votes. When a post reaches 10 votes, RELAY x Apparatus staff review it, confirm space and fit, and green-light it. Apparatus coordinates logistics and production with the facilitator, RELAY opens the space, and the event is ticketed through the Relay website. Paid programs run at RELAY on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9am to 9pm. Free programs run Sundays, 10am to 8pm, part of The Burrito Brigade's residency: community days at RELAY with free programming and community resources.
RELAY also hosts other longer-term programming and residencies, which typically run alongside public programs; on occasion one takes precedence and a given week is set aside for it instead.
